Welcome to The Wellbeing & Recovery Collective
At TWRC, our commitment goes beyond offering a service—it's about fostering a community-driven approach to mental wellbeing, recovery, and personal growth. Our mission is clear: to improve lives through education, unwavering support, and the power of connections.

Our Vision for a Brighter Future
Imagine a future where mental health resources are readily available to all—where therapy, coaching, and enriching content are accessible to individuals and organisations alike. This vision fuels our dedication to creating a landscape where wellbeing is not just a goal but a shared reality.

Thriving, Not Just Surviving
At TWRC, we believe in empowering individuals to embrace a holistic approach to wellbeing, celebrate the journey of recovery, and nurture personal growth. It's about creating a life that goes beyond mere existence.

Our Founder
I'm James Hitchen the founder of TWRC. I am a qualified therapist with over seven years of experience supporting people through eating disorders, addictions, and other mental health challenges. Before founding TWRC, I successfully co-designed and delivered an online addiction programme for a well-renowned treatment centre during the COVID-19 pandemic. The programme achieved excellent outcomes and demonstrated the power of digital treatment to reach and support clients when in-person care was not possible.
My Vision
I believe that recovery should be accessible, holistic, and adaptable to the realities of people’s lives. My vision for The Wellbeing & Recovery Collective is to create an inclusive space where individuals can access the right support—whether that’s therapy, structured programmes, or community connection—no matter where they are in their journey. We are building a model of care that is flexible, trauma-informed, and forward-thinking, blending evidence-based therapies with innovation to support lasting wellbeing.

Today, I bring this experience into TWRC—leading a collective of practitioners and programmes designed to stabilise, maintain, and grow recovery. My work is underpinned by both professional training and lived understanding, and my aim is always to meet people where they are, helping them move toward resilience, connection, and hope.
